Horoscope 2012 - Key Issues.

• Have you noticed that, for the last 10 years or so, your sun sign daily horoscope and your annual sign horoscopes are mostly wrong?  There is a reason.  There are planetary configurations occurring now that have not happened in 26,000 years, 300 years, 80 years, 50 years, and 15 years.  To rely on any horoscope that considers only your sun sign provides, at best, a 6% chance of some accuracy. AstroProfile will no longer provide daily and annual general trends sun sign horoscopes.   To continue to provide them for your sun sign would be a huge disservice and would, quite frankly, be misleading.

• "But my sign is Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces,... and we're like this ________ or we attract this ___________."  
  That may have been true once, but it is NOT true now or in the near future years.  Between 2009 and 2014 everyone will be effected by outer planet configurations.  Nothing will be the same, regardless of your sun sign.

• So what is happening that is unusual in the heavens that's making sun sign horoscopes irrelevant and mostly inaccurate?  Do you know where your Saturn is in your chart?  Do you know where Jupiter is in your chart?  What about Pluto?  Uranus?  Neptune?  Chiron?  If you don't know how these outer planets are placed in your chart and how they will interact each day, any horoscope accuracy is lost because it is these planets that are creating challenge and opportunity.  See 2012 Sky for the hot spots in general.

• Who are most vulnerable to changes in 2012?  If you have planets in the early degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Gemini, you have assurance of major transformations between now and 2013.  If you have planets in the late degrees of Libra and early degrees of Scorpio, you will be impacted also between now and 2013.  People with planets in early Capricorn and Aries are deeply affected.

  • Jupiter in early Taurus and Saturn in late Libra make a square early in 2012. Expanded earthly heavy form and structure, probably upheaval of previously perceived balance that was not authentic.

  • Most volatile months are February, June, and July 2012.  December is relatively mild.

  • A lot of the "hype" about 2012 is irrelevant.  Most of the most critical configurations leading up to 2012 have already occurred in the last 3 years.  They were major and significant, leaving 2012 actually looking tame in comparison.

  • Pluto's alignment with the Galactic Center occurred in the past decade ago when Pluto was still in Sagittarius.  Pluto is now in Capricorn.  Thus we're not giving as much weight to that analysis a in the past... it is past.  Likewise the Grand Crosses of 2010 are also past and not repeating in 2012.

  • There is, however, an interesting configuration called the Yod, or "Finger of God", occurring on December 21, 2012, comprised of Pluto, Saturn, and Jupiter.  We interpret that to mean an awakening of our own healing potentials and to our own higher minds.
